About this app
Hybrid Nutrition is a personal, single-user nutrition-tracking project in development. Its currently public dashboard displays demonstration data. A separate Google connection-test page uses only a disposable Google Sheets workbook containing synthetic entries.
This notice describes the prototype as it works today. It will be updated before real nutrition, bodyweight or training data is used in the app.
Google information accessed
If you choose to sign in on the connection-test page, Hybrid Nutrition requests Google's drive.file permission (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file). This lets the app use Google Drive files you explicitly select for it through Google Picker.
The current test expects Hybrid Nutrition — Integration Sandbox and rejects other selected files in its interface. After selection, it can read spreadsheet metadata and synthetic cells, and it can write a designated synthetic test marker after you approve a confirmation dialog. The OAuth permission may also apply to other Google files you explicitly authorise for this app; its scope is not permanently limited to one spreadsheet.
The prototype does not request Gmail, Contacts, Calendar or unrestricted Google Drive access. Google handles the sign-in; the app does not request your Google password.
How data is used
The test uses the selected Google Sheets values only to confirm reading and writing works. It does not use them for advertisements, user profiling, sale or unrelated purposes.
The browser sends authorised requests directly to Google's APIs. The OAuth access token is held in JavaScript memory for the page session, not intentionally saved to local storage, an app-controlled database or server. The Google Picker API key is manually entered for the current test and is not persisted by the app.
ChatGPT coaching is separate. This prototype does not automatically transfer Google Sheets content to ChatGPT or the OpenAI API. If you separately choose to share information with ChatGPT, that use is governed by the applicable privacy policies for that service.
Storage, hosting and third parties
Selected spreadsheet data and synthetic test entries remain in your Google account, under Google's storage and account controls. The present prototype does not run its own nutrition database or copy spreadsheet contents onto a Hybrid Nutrition server.
Static pages are served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare and Google may process technical request information such as IP addresses to deliver pages, provide security, authenticate and process API calls under their own policies. Google sign-in may use Google's cookies. The current app does not include an advertising tracker or separately configured analytics service.
Sharing, security and limitations
The prototype does not sell Google user data, share it with advertisers or expose selected sheet contents to other app users. It uses HTTPS, Google sign-in and an explicit Google Picker selection step. The public website files do not contain your private spreadsheet contents or OAuth access token.
This is still an experiment. Restricted OAuth read/write of synthetic data has been tested, but long-term sign-in, recovery, backups, error handling and production security are not yet validated. Do not put actual personal nutrition or other sensitive records into this test.
Retention and control
Synthetic test entries stay in Google Sheets until you edit or delete them. Closing or refreshing the connection-test page clears its in-memory access token, though it does not revoke the access previously granted to the OAuth app.
You can revoke Google access in your Google Account third-party connections and remove spreadsheet data in Google Sheets or Drive. The app does not yet have its own account deletion, export or backup interface.
Changes and contact
This notice took effect on 17 October 2026. It must be reviewed and updated before real nutrition tracking or additional data processing, analytics, servers or automatic integrations are introduced.
